Faith is at the heart of the Christian life. It begins with a desire to believe in God and trust His promises, even when we cannot see the outcome. As we study His word, pray, and choose to follow Him, our faith grows stronger. Over time, we learn that God is faithful in every season, and that He is always working for our good.
Jesus often taught about the power of faith. He encouraged His followers to trust God completely, reminding them that even a small amount of faith can accomplish great things. In Matthew 17:20 (KJV) He said, “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed… nothing shall be impossible unto you.” Faith isn’t measured by its size, but by where it is placed. Even the smallest faith, when placed in Jesus Christ, can change lives.
Faith doesn’t remove every challenge, but it changes how we face them. It gives us peace when life feels uncertain, hope when circumstances seem impossible, and confidence that God is always with us. As Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) teaches, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith allows us to look beyond today’s circumstances and trust the God who sees the whole picture.
This month, we’re featuring four inspiring films on Living Scriptures+ that demonstrate the many ways faith shapes our lives. Each story reminds us that God honors those who trust Him and that faith often leads to unexpected blessings.
Finding Faith
Finding Faith follows the Garrett family, whose strong Christian faith is put to the ultimate test when their teenage daughter is abducted by an online predator. As law enforcement races to find her, the family must cling to God through fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak. Based on real events investigated by an Internet Crimes Against Children task force, the film reminds viewers that faith doesn’t eliminate trials, but it gives us hope and strength to endure them.
Faith is often strongest when life feels most uncertain. In moments when we don’t have answers, we can choose to trust that God is still present and still at work. The Garrett family’s perseverance reminds us that God’s peace can sustain us, even in our darkest hours.
Psalm 46:1 (KJV) declares, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Even when circumstances are beyond our control, we can place our confidence in Him.

Filled with humor, heart, and unexpected blessings, the film reminds us that faith means trusting God’s timing and provision.
Sometimes we pray for one answer only to discover that God has something even better prepared. Faith allows us to remain hopeful while we wait for His perfect timing.

This beautifully animated story helps families understand that genuine faith means trusting God’s character above our own understanding. Abraham’s obedience became a lasting example for generations to come.

Growing Our Faith
Faith is something we build day by day. Every prayer, every act of obedience, and every moment we choose to trust God helps our faith become stronger. Like a seed that grows into a mighty tree, faith develops over time as we rely on Him.
There will be seasons when faith feels easy and others when it feels difficult. During both, God remains faithful. He invites us to keep believing, keep praying, and keep following Him, knowing that He will never leave us.
As we exercise our faith, we begin to see God’s hand more clearly in our lives. We recognize His guidance, experience His peace, and discover that His promises are always true.
